Question

I have practiced coitus interruptus for years and recently a friend told me that people who use this form of birth control are called "parents." How effective is this?

Answer

Your friend is right. Coitus interruptus (pulling out at the last minute/withdrawal before ejaculation during intercourse) is a very poor form of birth control because lots of sperm are carried into the vagina by pre-ejaculatory secretions. Condoms are much safer.
